The Suicide Letter

She seems so afraid of what people might say.
Because she must wear the same clothes day after day.
She's not as rich as some of her friends.
But sometimes she slips into her own little world where she can pretend.
Her parents fight a lot and she gets caught in the middle..
And once she even got hit and had to be put in the hospital.
Her parents told a lie and said she'd fallen off her bike.
And that these things happen when you're just a little tyke.
As she got older the fighting got worse.
The hitting got harder and her parents started to curse.
She would go in her room just to get away.
In fact that's where she stayed
most of the night and day.
There were still times when she would get hit.
And soon began to believe she deserved it.
Her parents called her names and were constantly putting her down.
And when she tried to tell them her problems they were never around.
She never found anyone to listen to what she had to say.
And soon she will be buried in the ground where she must now forever lay.
She committed suicide to make her life better.
Which is why she wrote this final suicide letter.
