Secret Tunnel

[Abby]

"Shall I cast a spell to bring us to the others?"

::Abby is looking perky and bright eyed. Of course, she didn't nearly kill herself with exertion trying to take on The Source.::

[The Source]

::The giant snake is forcing his way down the passage, giving chase to our valiant, though exhausted, heroes. The tunnel shakes with falling debris as cracks score up the walls and ceiling from his approaching mass. He comes into sight quickly and dives towards them at a terrifyingly quick pace.::

[Wesley]

::Wesley feels the violent vibrations approaching them and shouts out to Abby, perhaps louder than he intends to.::

"Yes, yes, yes!"

[Veronica]

::Veronica starts to run, grabbing Dante's wrist as she moves past him and then pelting down the passage to get to the light at the end of the tunnel before The Source does. Her heart is trying to leap out of her throat and it almost feels as though it's in front of her and she's chasing it, trying to swallow it back down. Like The Source wants to swallow them. Veronica and Dante burst out into the Shambles.::

[Abby]

"Oh! I have not the time!"

::Abby turns and bolts. However, from her back springs four shoots of vine, each wrapping itself around the wrist of the four people behind her: Wesley, Sera, Sharon, and even Julie. Julie is wrenched from Wesley's arms and dragged on the ground behind Abby - they're all dragged after her, forced to run at an alarming pace. Abby is an incredibly quick runner, but her vines are also pulling everybody towards her to close the gap. Just as the fourth person is forced to run past sections of the tunnel, saplings grow from the ground that rapidly turn into trees which force their way up through the tunnel roof and grow thick trunks, intended on holding back The Source. They all make it to the Shambles.::

[The Source]

::The Source just crashes through the trees, as if they were nothing more than toothpicks. One does snag him, however, and he ends up having to force his way through the wall to wind around it. But it's not long before the great snake explodes into the Shambles.::
