::Monica's nostrils flare and - was that just some smoke puffing out of them?::

[Wesley]

::Wesley's eyes widen, half-expecting her to turn into an evil, raging dragon like Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty. His hand goes up to expel another gust at her.::

[Monica]

::Monica's eyes narrow and gloss over, becoming entirely black.::

"Don't push me around, boy."

::And, just like that Disney character Wesley mentioned, maybe Disney anyway, the darklighter's body begins to warp and contort, her nose stretching out into the long, extended mouth of a dragon. She keeps growing, clothes discarded as scales replace skin and a large, dangerous tail whips out and cracks a tree in two. She's big. Real big.::

[Veronica]

"I knew it!"

[Wesley]

::Completely disobeying Monica's venomous comment, Wesley now directs the wind to funnel around the dragon's nose, commanding it to batter against the beast.::

[Veronica]

(Also SHIT!)

::Veronica backs off in a hurry, wanting to get away from the ferocious beast as quickly as. She keeps the balls of light swinging through the air, providing them all with just enough light to see.::

"I thought Jasmine said it couldn't hurt us! THE TREE SAYS IT CAN!!"

::Poor broken tree. It didn't deserve this.::

[Julie]

::Julie widens her eyes -_- but keeps her composure, blinking away from the oversized lizard.::

(That was unexpected, at most I thought she'd just turn against us, not go all Jafar on our asses...)

"Just not to become the next tree!"

::The ninja fires away several energy balls at the scary scary dragon.::

[Dante]

::Lightning crackles around Dante's hands as he runs forward with Veronica. It strikes at Monica in roaring booms, somewhat haphazardly as he directs it behind without looking::

"This is a really shitty day. Where are we going?"

[Veronica]

"God knows. I can't believe that shitty bastard tried to trick us into believing it was someone cool."

::Veronica's face shows anger. She watched Monica die and it's not something that you can just ignore. It's not as if she's seen things like that very often. Demons, sure, but friends getting evaporated before your eyes... no. And then to have that person dangled in front of you cruelly is just something else.::

"BUT WE'RE NOT FALLING FOR ANY MORE SO STOP STALLING AND SHOW US THE WAY!"

[Dragon]

::The dragon, which was completely unaffected by Julie's attacks, stops mid-rear and lays its feet back on the ground. Turning its head, the beast blows at the darkness leading to the beach, great billows of the stuff moving away to clear a path.::

[Julie]

"Well done, Vero."

::Julie takes the initiative since no one has posted in three days and makes her way to the Beach, carefully watching her surroundings even though she can't see anything.::

::Following Julie, Veronica and the others leave the dragon behind and go to the beach.::
