1. The Rules.
Read them, don't skim them. There's a chance you'll miss something and then the admin and mods will have to get angry and we don't like to be angry. So, then everyone becomes angry and then the forum won't be called A Night's Calling but Mad People Extravagant. Personally, I think it's a horrible name so let's just read the rules, okay? :]

2. Rating of Board.
This is an unrated site. You, as a member, have free reign to do whatever you would like to, so long as an appropriate warning is attached. I don't honestly care about sex or gore or whatever, so long you have a point to it. If you guys go around have sex for no reason, I will up your warning.

3. Promote.
Please try and get the word about A Night's Calling out. Everyone has the right to advertise! You scratch our back, we'll scratch yours. Get it?

4. Respect.
I understand that you don't like everyone. Hell, I'm the type of person who'll get frustrated with someone just for tapping their fingers, but please keep the hatred to a minimum. Anyone found being an asshole, will be banned, simple as that.

5. Active Participation.
If you're going to sign up, don't just leave. There will be character clean-outs occasionally, and anyone deleted will have no trace left of them around here.

6. Plug Board.
This is guest friendly, but ONLY if your board is also guest friendly.

7. Moderating.
Only the Mods can do this, hence Moderating. It's okay if you gently nudge someone in the right direction, but please don't go acting all important and mod-like if you aren't one.

8. Graphics.
Avatars are to be 100x100 and signatures should be no larger than 500x200. If you have icons in your signature, don't have any more then eight if they are 100x100 or three if they're 200x200. Anything larger will be removed and you will be warned only once.

9. Character Limit.
No limits, but if we find that you aren't particularly active with a certain character then we'll have to have a nice little funeral for that character. Also if you'd like to drop a character, just pm an admin about it. But don't sign up for a canon if you feel like you won't be using them very often. OH and if your first character is a female be sure your next is male then you can take another female. It's a pattern see? female>>male>>female OR male>>female>>male, got it? Of course if you just prefer having MALES that's okay, because we're always lacking guys.

10. Character Names.
First and last name only. Real names, not code names for when you sign in. No names like IBelieveInAThingCalledLove or 666santanist. Both names ARE disturbing. If you do this you will be deleted and have to re-register with a real name. REAL names.

11. point of view.
third person past tense is the only thing that's allowed. In character plots, you can use first person.

12. Posting.
You cannot have one liners. I require at least four sentences to a paragraph and at least two paragraphs. There is no way you can RP with something under that. This is an intermediate-advanced board. If you don't think you can handle it, then don't join. We'd like to think that we're a semi-literate board, mkay?

13. Applications.
Fill them out completely. If you haven't finished them, put [WIP] in the title so you can come back to it later. But you must have it finished in three days time. I don't want them to just be sitting there.

14. Epic Events.
You know, birth, death, murder, that sort of thing. These are not permitted unless you have permission from the characters involved as well as the admin. After you have done this, then, of course, you may.

15. Godmodding.
There will be none, how simple is that?

16. Character Model Claims.
You can choose anyone your little heart pleases EXCEPT anime characters. They're scary and disturbing. So, don't, or we'll hunt you down and give you to Sweeney Todd who will cut off you face and it will be baked into a pie. Now, unless you want to be an...intriguing desert, I suggest you do as I say. It's just simple like that. :]
