General Appearance:

Temperance is a very cute girl, a natural beauty and doesn’t need shove loads of cosmetics. Temp is blessed with clear and blemish free skin and a dab of rouge isn’t needed since she has naturally rosy cheeks. Mostly she just has a natural look, but of course, for a blazing night out partying she will experiment and wear a bit more makeup for a dramatic effect. She has thick brown hair; it’s a little bit longer than shoulder length at the moment but she has had much shorter cuts. She prefers to just have it out but occasionally she’ll wear a ribbon or headband when wanting a small change. But when Temp wants a little more drastic change which can’t be provided by a simple braid she will colour her hair maybe into a lighter shade, she has been blonde a couple of times. And sometimes she also likes wearing wigs, it’s pretty fun and her favourite one is a pink wig she uses now and then.

Her smile is lovely as well, but those pearly whites are often seen. Temperance has a natural sense of style and you will see her in a lot of different trends. She wears the usual jeans and t-shirt or top or dresses and shorts. She’ll wear whatever fits the occasion and weather, so during a lazy day she can be wearing a cute dress and stockings or simply slacks. She hasn’t anything against wearing heels but she prefers using ballerina flats with her during her free time and at ‘work’. The fancy footwear is restricted to parties and special occasions.

Personality:

There is one single word that describes Temperance so utterly well and would be the definition of her personality. This oh-so mysterious word is… *drumroll* clumsy! Not such a fancy or cool description but it is the way she is. But it’s pretty amazing actually, on a flat and stable surface she will find something to stumble over and lose her balance, she surely isn’t a graceful kind. Temperance is really accident prone as well as a trouble and problem magnet, she has a lousy sense of direction and her parents actually got her some extra health insurance as a child, you know, just in case. But she isn’t this way voluntarily of course and she tries to stay on the safe side and not be too adventurous, which has given her a somewhat cowardice personality because she always tries to be very careful. And the fact that she seems to be cursed with bad luck doesn’t help at all; it’s pretty amazing that she still has her arms and legs intact.

Despite trying to be on the safe side of things and not take any unnecessary risks Temperance is easily fascinated and her curiosity is undeniable. That, combined with her stubbornness and determinations doesn’t help the victims of her snooping and prying ways. She can be very persistent at times and doesn’t give up easily, only those times she meets someone more stubborn than herself. Then it will usually end with her pouting and being slightly mad, but not before some cocky remarks and witty comments. Temperance knows how to bicker about. But at the same time she isn’t hard to persuade and is quite agreeable, Temperance doesn’t like being a disappointment or letting people down. She is dutiful and somewhat of a people pleaser and will often put others happiness and wellbeing before her own.

Personality wise she is also a kind and caring girl, gentle hearted and someone to confide in. She is very honest, sometimes unwillingly and unintentionally, she tends to talk before she thinks but on the other hand she is a terrible liar. But despite that Temperance has a very high-spirited personality. Friendly, approachable and easy going are one of her strongest traits. She loves making jokes and is energetic and bubbly once you get to know her. And sometimes when she feels for it she’ll be that way when meeting a stranger, ready with fun witty comments, she likes using sarcasm but in a light and fun way. Though Tempie has her moments and can be a bit rude at times, and instead of being saracstic in a fun way she can be snide and cocky, throwing minor fits when she is angry and upset. She raises her voice quite easily along with throwing accusations when she’s frustrated.

Temperance hates making decisions and get anxious very easily; dilemmas are one of the worst things she knows. But like mentioned earlier she has a stubborn and determined persona, once a decision is made she will feel extremely relived that it’s done and will stick with her decision, no matter what. She has a great deal of self-control and is quite disciplined; she will work effectively so that she later can get some time off and do what she wants. Mostly it is reading since she isn’t much of a nature person and sports are something she tries to stay away from.

Ophelia’s and Joshua’s marriage started out like every storybook romance and they were immensely happy the first years. They had romantic getaways and vacations, both shared the same interests and enjoyed their hobbies together. After 3 years of marriage the family was expanded and their first child was born, another tree years passed before the second child joined the family and Ophelia was living the happy dream many wished for. Or so she thought.

Joshua loved his wife and his children but he felt that something was missing. His bachelor days seamed like lifetimes ago and he wanted it back and get away from diaper changing and messy children. So, longing back to more carefree days Josh entered an affair with a blonde bombshell. Ophelia could tell that something was different but didn’t want to realise the truth, instead she though that a third child would help their marriage. With baby Temperance as a new extension to the family Joshua felt it was getting too crowded and too many was pulling him. He loved his children, they were a part of him, but still after all this time maybe he wasn’t ready for such a responsibility and he left everything to Ophelia to take care of. When Temperance was 3 years old and her siblings 6 and 9, Joshua handed in divorce papers. His little fling, Shelly, would soon be a fiancée and she urged Joshua to end it once and for all. But Ophelia, devastated by it all, refused to signed the papers and fought against it with all her might. But Joshua and his lawyer finally won and Ophelia was left with her children while Joshua lived life with a girl more than half his age.

This was a very confusing period for Tempie, she didn’t understand why daddy and mommy always fought, why dad didn’t live with them and why her siblings seemed so bitter towards their father and mother. Despite their young age they understood what had happened. They blamed Opheliafor not holding on to Joshua and letting him go, splitting their family, and they blamed Josh for leaving them for another one. The divorce hit Ophelia hard, she kept her face straight the first years, raising her children with love and care and urging them to be the best they could. But soon she went in a downwards spiral and started to drink to drown her troubles. At first it was barely noticeable, she would take a glass of wine now and then. But the amount increased and she would hide her drinking from Ryder, the oldest Davies child, who was smart and knew what was going on.

Joshua married Shelly and they got a son of their own. The Davies siblings were all invited to both the wedding and the baptism. Temp wanted to go, she missed her father but both her mother and siblings refused, Joshua was dead to them and Temperance didn’t want to upset them and stayed home as well. Josh knew that he’d done a lot of wrongs in the past and he tried making it all better, but Ryder threatened him to never make any contact with them again. Joshua had his own little family now and he should leave them alone. Though Temperance still sneaks away birthday and Christmas cards and calls now and then (and the others know about it.) When Temperance finished high school she joined her siblings to live with them. She felt guilty for leaving their mother, but Ophelia didn’t want to take care of her problem, and wouldn’t admit she had one. It was Temp’s older siblings who had practically raised her the last years. And as she started college, marketing management and economics, and she was living life, having fun with her new friends and siblings. She loves them so much and she would be lost without her sister and brother. They are as close as close can be, having no secrets from each other and being honest and truthful. But now something is wrong, she hardly see them anymore, they come randomly, several days in-between without any explanations. Temperance is heartbroken and doesn’t know what is happening, both of her siblings say that they are busy with work, that a lot is on their minds and they have a lot to do. But Temp can see that they are lying to her and she hates it. All she wants is that her family will get back to normal and that they will be happy. She’s all alone in their big apartment, waiting for them to come home and still cooks and bakes for all of them, praying that they will stay safe and come home soon.
