A NIGHT'S CALLING

Lilith arrived at the park and stopped. Wind blew in her hair, she brought her hand up to prevent it from getting into her eyes. She looked around to see if she could see anyone. She could see a girl on the swings and two others who seemed to be talking to each other. She didn't want to bother anyone...

She started to walk once more, passing by the swings then first set of benches. She hugged herself for comfort. The wind was really cold and it kept blowing in her hair. she looked up at the sky and the clouds before looking back in front of herself and the path.She kept going and sat under the big tree. She closed her eyes and let herself lay back on the tree.

She thought about the first she had come here... Long ago with Jade, Darcy and Vlad. They would play together and have a lot of fun.How long had it been since she had last seen them? Maybe she should arrange something for them to see each other again. Then she thought of Jade, where was she? What could she be doing at this time and for so long? Well, she would probably be home before her so it wasn't so bad then.

Her thoughts then drifted to long ago when she had ran away... now she thought about it, this was the place she had come as well. Well, was it fate that made her come here again? Maybe, maybe not...Who knew... She opened her eyes once more and looked up at the sky. She thought of her past 7 husbands, whom had all disappeared... only one was known to still be alive the others had gone somewhere else...

She then remembered she was to get married, once more... Seemed like her parents would never learn. Who was it going to be this time? Some tall, dark and handsome or small, cranky and ugly? Lilith smirked at the thought of how her 8th husband would look like. She laid her head back once more and closed her eyes.

She let the wind blow gently on her face. She felt free and relaxed for once, The wind rushed in the branches and the leaves made a low and beautiful noise. Calming and soothing music to her ears. She was lost in relaxation, so lost in it that she wouldn't even realize if someone came up to her.

she could hear footsteps far away but she let it be, sure they were not coming this was and went back to relaxing peacefully by listening to the music of the wind in the leaves and branches, the birds singing and any other natural sounds.

When Lilith opened her eyes it was late. She sighed and stretched her arms before getting up and walking towards the cemetery, why? She just felt like it....

She thought she might meet someone, as long as she stayed away from the church, bishop or anyone religious or suspicious, she should be fine... or would be anyway....

She walked slowly trying not to trip over air. Her head down, more than usual anyways. She looked back up at the moon and smiled sweetly. She was trying to think of something positive but she couldn't find anything. She then was reminded of her good friend Evy. oh how she missed. Who knew, she might actually meet her soon.

Where or when, she didn't know but hoped she would see her soon. She felt like seeing a familiar face!

She started walking at a faster pace and walked towards the cemetery.
