IT'S LONELY OUT IN SPACE Thing's haven't changed too much in the 23rd century. It's a big ship and people still like to keep in touch with notes, e-mails, and other correspondents, especially when they might not see one another for days at a time.

I'M NOT THE MAN THEY THINK I AM AT HOME Personal effects still exist in the far future. Some people still like to keep journals, even hand written ones at that, for authenticity sake. Photographs are taken as keepsakes so no memory can ever be lost.

THE BRIDGE Deck 1, the command center of the ship, where Kirk sits and a good number of the final decisions are made. This is practically the home of the captain, the first officer, and the chiefs whose departments are critical to the ships operation. With them is a hand full of bridge officers, serving to make things go a little bit easier for their commanding officers.

LIVING QUARTERS Spanning from decks 2 through 25, each deck having somewhere around two hundred rooms, the crews living quarters are sprinkled in around various workstations and rooms. Aside from the captain’s quarters and those of the chief officers, each living space is about the side of your average two-bedroom apartment, each crewmember has their own living room space, as well as a bathroom and bedroom. Most are without windows though, as they’re located in the middle of the ship to provide the most protection.

SICK BAY There are a hand full scattered around the ship for safety reasons, but the main Sickbay is located on deck 35. It’s a rather large place, capable of taking plenty of injured people during a time of crisis and is staffed with the best doctors a ship could ask for. Whether it’s a life threatening injury or some unknown illness, the Sickbay is the place to be.

ENGINEERING Decks 40 through 50 technically, once your reach engineering the decks stop and are instead replaced by the large area, filled by the impulse engines, warp core, and numerous pipes and tubes to cool the two massive structures. Most mechanics and Engineering staff members would find themselves here, working to make sure the ship is running with no problems during a regular mission or times of crisis.

THE HALLS Long and winding, it’s how you get from room to room. Given the number of people that can be traveling these things at a time, it isn’t unlikely for you to run into just about anyone in the middle of the hallway

TURBOLIFTS It happens to everyone, getting in an elevator with one or two other strangers and being forced to have that awkward conversation or silence. Or maybe it’s one of your good friends you haven’t seen in a while and you finally get an, albeit brief, catch up chat.

TRANSPORTER ROOM Located on decks 7, 24, and 35, unless you’re stationed here, you’re probably here to get beamed down onto some sort of Alien planet or unknown starship. Either way, this is the place where the adventure begins and ends, the one place where all the excitement or fear from pre-mission jitters mix with the post mission sorrow or joy. It can be a reminder of things gone well or things gone horribly wrong…Of course you could also be here just to keep the Transporter Room crew company.

THE ENCOUNTER Found on deck 22, should you get tired of whatever food the ship is working up for you, this restaurant and bar is the one place on the ship you can find authentic, fresh, fine dinning. It also doubles as a lounge for many of the crew and members on board to relax and take a break and as such has a few decks of cards, a terrace board, and a three-dimensional chessboard. The Encounter also serves drinks to those old enough and off duty. The space itself isn’t too big, only having 20 tables that seat four. It never gets too busy though. Along the edge of the Encounter is a window, displaying the blackness of space for all to see.

THE GYM It’s a long trip and plenty of people like to stay in shape. Located on decks 20 and 21, this two story gym has just about everything you might need to keep yourself in shape. Weights, rooms for activities like yoga and kickboxing, at least one hundred treadmills and bikes, a pool, a basketball court and a squash court to boot, you’re probably set when it comes to your health needs

REC ROOM On deck 22 and technically still a part of the gym, The Recreation Room is located directly below and connected to the work out center. The only reason it’s not considered a part of the gym is it’s different target audience. While the officers and older kids have the gym or The Encounter to entertain themselves, the Rec Room is mainly for the younger kids, filled with small indoor playgrounds and various board games and childish areas to play in.

SHUTTLE BAY Located on Deck 50, at the aft of the ship, shuttles literally come and go from the back of the ship. If the transporter bay isn’t working for some reason, or escape pods aren’t an option in an emergency, the Shuttles are the main form of transportation to and from the USS Enterprise. Sometimes they’re used as a formality, after all, beaming into an ally’s vessel or planet can easily be perceived as rude.

THE BRIG If you screw up big time, like trying to incite mutiny or murdering someone, and you’ll end up here, locked away until the ship reaches a destination where you can be properly tried by a tribunal of your Federation peers. It’s found on deck 37

DENEVA COLONY The largest and first colony on Deneva Prime, it's no wonder the Deneva Colony is the colony of the large planet. With a population of nearly 100,000 people, the Deneva Colony is just like any other city on Earth, complete with a hustling and bustling city center, where Federation employees go to work and run the planet, suburban housing, and all the entertainment options you'd expect in a proper city.

EDEN The mining town of Eden is anything but similar to its biblical name sake. Instead of a large blooming paradise it's pretty much a large town, barely nicer than a slum. The only reason the place is of any concern is due to its proximity to one of the largest mines on Deneva Prime. As of late it's been one of the towns the rebel movement has hit the hardest. Given this, all travel to and from the city is nearly impossible, pending approval from politicians and commanders in the Denevan Government
