at the beginning of the month we asked you guys to fill out a questionnaire to help us improve. for those who took the time to respond, to those who didn't you suck and now you have to live with what the minority decided. it's kind of like the canadian government that way except your not getting a shitty government out of it. har har har~

anyway, as we said before the activity check we will be closing down for a few days to completely revamp the site. it's not that it's needed, it's that it's wanted. a lot of you asked for a focus on older characters, so that's what we're going to do. the admins decided that we want to pursue this path as well so this weekend we will be closed for renovations so to speak. hopefully everything goes smoothly and we'll be closed for the shortest time possible. the cbox will be there still for you guys to use and for us to keep you updated, but take this weekend as a chance to go explore the world outside the computer ;)

<li>ellison forums will be condensed, town expanded</li>

not to worry though, this will all be for the betterment of ALBR! this is not to say that you can't have high school students or uni students. they will still be a very integral part to the board and the community. take this as a chance to expand and grow your mini armies with older and wiser characters! or not so wise, whichever haha.

last thing: the incoming seniors ban is being dropped, but sadly because our ratios have not evened up like we want them to an original female ban is going up effective immediately. any requested females will still be accepted, but we hope this encourages people to join with a male rather than a female. this ban will remain in place until the ratios even out again. sorry for the inconvenience.<P>

something i forgot to mention that affects those participating in camp ellison threads: the camp ellison forums will be turned off so if you have a thread you'd like saved make sure to let an admin know so we can move them.

so, the forums that will be gone are any in this category. everywhere else is likely safe. (:
