The household with my little ol' parents back up North is nothing to talk about really....and I'm just seriously saying that because it's the truth. We're an ok family and all, but just don't expect to ever walk through the doors of that house and not pass straight out from the boring normality of that place. It's like everything doomed to be bland and normal has been sucked into that cookie cutter house and not even my parents are excluded from the inventory sadly. I think every time something other than chicken salad showed up for dinner as a kid my little heart almost went crazy. Love you two, but there's a reason why Cammie and myself booked it to our unknown fates in the states to get out of there. But that being said, it's still my home, I'm still attached to the parentals there and I can't ever hate it for raising me well enough. But I have to tell ya, the real home for me is the apartment outside town with the guys. It's not insanely awesome, it's not like we're driving the neighbors crazy partying it up every night, but it's great just because we're (thankfully) a group of people who've found can live around each other without things breaking down. I honestly don't have to put any effort in at all to work with these guys and get along with them. I think it's the basics of how everything works that has made our living together as friends so easy though. None of us really started out knowing each other(except Alec and I of course) but things picked up to work well very quick surprisingly, like we take turn cooking meals for everyone, we don't get on each other's nerves(unless we're trying of course hahah), and it's just always great place to be able to come home to at the end of a long day ya know? Good atmosphere. So I'm not living in the lap of luxury exactly, but I'm having a pretty good time none-the-less so I couldn't be happier. Beats a lot of alternatives also, so not lookin' to change things up anytime soon either hahah. what keeps you motivated? My sister. She drives behind me with her scooter, hitting me with her spatula, yelling "Run fat boy! Ruuuun!" HAHahhaha...ha...hah..... Oh come on! Really? None of you have watched that movie? Not a single one of you!?You disgust me.I'm kidding of course, my sister would probably hit me with her Audi or something like that haha, but she really is my inspiration if I'm being honest here. Our whole lives we have grown up being referenced to one another because of the twins thing, as though somehow us sharing genetics mean we are the same people... Let's ask the tennis playing, millionaire dating, lawyer in training what she thinks of being compared to me. She loves me as much as I love her, but I always have to keep going just to make sure I never become an embarrassment to her, because she'd never let me live that down.if you could live anywhere in the world, where would you go? why? Deutschland without a doubt. I'm an absolute Germaholic it's an absolute fact, I almost cry every time I have to load up on the plane and wave goodbye to the land of amazing boobs and beer and perfect cold weather. I mean what else could I ask for? Honestly though, if you've ever been there then you understand why I really love Germany so much, because we all feel for it at one point or another. It might be the way people offer you a ride to the airport if you need it, or how you can sit with anyone at the bar and strike up conversation, it's so old school I can't help but love it. It also has the first girl I ever truly loved there, and it doesn't hurt that every time I am near Heidleberg she will drag whatever boys she's with at the time to come have a lunch with me, poor sods are never very happy about our still running friendship.Maybe it's a weird concept to people who love city life, those ones who genuinely hate anything that has to do with not drinking and going crazy, but I'm a slow motion guy at heart. I will run around with the guys all day, party just like the rest of them, but there's something about grabbing a coffee and just sitting outside that really secretly comforts me...and I think that's why I love Germany so much. You can walk into Berlin any day and kick up the wildest night of your life no problem, but turn around the next day and just walk into the forests for hiking the day away. That's my perfect balance right there.what's your favourite colour? why? Errr I can't really pick a favorite. I mean they all do their part to contribute to the world, they all look good in their own ways, I don't know how to pick just one.So I guess that means my favorite color is Black. You only register black when your eye has nothing else to go off of, so I enjoy black for it's potential. It's all mysterious and elusive, you can't really gain a whole lot from black itself unless any other color is involved, so I see it as the basis for everything.... You're talking to an art freak here remember, sorry if the color question gets a little deep for me. what are your goals in life? To die happy with what I've spent my life on. Period end of story.what is a secret about you? Invalid. By admitting a secret it cancels out the properties that cause the subject to be secret in nature, therefore causing it to become simply a thing. You're creating a conundrum by asking the question my good friend! Hi. Can you tell my coffee is starting to kick in a little? But ahhhhurrmmm a secret huh? What can I admit to that won't get me landed in a jail cell with Bubba the oversensitive mass murderer? I guess one of my admit-able secrets would probably be the drug stuff, just because that was brought to light already in my life and I take it as a good thing now that I've lived through it. Outside of the people I was shooting up with this is a rather good secret of mine, where only Cam knows anything because she's my goddamn twin and she will know everything I ever do...ever.So where to start with the story of the highschool drop out and his dope dealing and shooting days? Yeah, I'm gunna go through the story third personing it because that kid died off a while ago and I'm not looking back on him as even a part of my life. So it started right after his sixteenth birthday I think? Somewhere around the time with his parents were looking like the biggest losers in the world, and school work looked like something he couldn't be bothered with, yeah somewhere in there. A sixteen year old boy is one of the most irrational, hard headed, idiotic creatures ever created, so of course drugs is just a five letter word they all toss around without regard. I honestly can't even remember who he was with the first time he shot up, I know it had to do with a very breasty senior girl with too much makeup, btu beyond that I really just can't remember details of it.Anyways. Turns out heroin is ever so slightly...well you do it once and you're doing it always. I can't remember how this dumb kid worked it out, but somehow he had mom and pops believing for a while there that he was still going to school, still going everything he needed to do, but thankfully sissy had her stuff together enough to know he was being an idiot on a major scale. Found out years later she was tossing his stuff that managed to find it's way into the house, taking care of obvious marks and such, and all the while thinking of a way to snap me...I mean him, out of this. And do you know what she did. At seventeen, after a straight year of this lifestyle, she said enough was enough and called the cops on the heroine house while I was locked up in a garage of a friend of her's while that family was out. She literally took matters into her own hands and did what she could. I still remember her coming at him with a baseball bat when he started having a fit about the locking away thing, threatening to smash his face in for him if he was going to be throwing himself away anyways....yeah, it's a weird story I know, everything seems so random looking back on it, but I still have the scars to prove it and she still had that bat to this day as a memento. Long story short she claimed she was hooking up with one of the houses main dealers and just kept telling cops she had ratted because she didn't want that around her life ever again, and I never even showed my face. We left for the states sometime later (a year or so) and that's when I landed here, started night classes and summer school and whatever testing I needed to do, and I have never looked back. I got a break where a lot of kids don't, and I know without my sister I wouldn't be here today, so I swore to her that I would never take advantage of this life what is your greatest weakness? Greatest weakness as a man? Those girls who can hang with the guys, I'm sorry but that is just the most attractive type of girl for me. Don't get me wrong. I'll hook up with any doe eyed missy at a party, just don't get angry with me ladies if I don't answer your calls the next day. So let's put it like this. In my world there are two types of girls, and only those two types. There are the ones that you only want to see for one night, and then there are the ones it would kill you to only see for one night. For me, those girls I couldn't stand only seeing one night are the ones you don't have to work at to be around, ergo one who can hang with the guys. Get my drift? Now a more personal weakness for myself...would probably be be my family. Because as annoying as they can get, as much as we can get on one another's nerves in life, there's no other people in the world I would just drop everything for. Anyone else can push my buttons, put me down, whatever they want to mess with me and I simply won't care as much as I would if it was Cammie or Mom and Dad. We're not a super close family on the surface, but I'm pretty damn happy to have them all be the closest people in my life when it counts for it. So as un-manly as it is, my family is my greatest weak point, so don't hit on my sister or make "your mom" jokes and we should be fine. And just some dinky stuff in case anyone was wondering. I'm a sucker for Thai food, I planned on marrying a friend from highschool for like two years just so I knew my mother in law could make bomb tom kha gai. I can't deal with dark water...at all. If I can't see what's in that scheisse, no matter if it's a kiddie pool or what, I am not going in there. I can't ride a bike. I don't know if that's a weakness really, but I'm putting it there just so you know. And grande finale time! One of my worst soft spots is my love of art. In all honesty, if you want to leave me ranting to myself just bring up any art medium and leave me be. Everything from street art, to my beloved architecture, to cooking, if it's that left brain thinking then I am totally hooked to the convo....don't judge. are you more of a dog person or cat person?Cats. Don't get me wrong here, I'd pick a dog over a cat any day, but come on. Cats are seriously the most badass things to ever accept humans as acceptable roommates. Hahah I mean, have you ever looked a cat straight in the face? No don't freakin' snicker like it's a joke, just do it! I did it once, just once, and do you know what I saw in that little fuz ball's eyes? Do you? Nothing. Not a single thing in that cat's face said it gave a tiny care about me being right in it's personal space. I mean literally I think every cat in the world, no matter how loving or mean, would be completely unfazed to watch you get hit by a truck. They just don't give a s***! I can seriously respect that. Dax is proof of this. She left a dead mouse on my bed. This is not a sign of cats caring for you people! This is "I'm over this thing now, I'm just going to leave it here because I own this house. Deal with it." Love that little black devil.what are some of your likes? dislikes? I like everything in life unless given a reason not to like it, so I guess I'll just give you what I've learned to dislike and then say some things I love, the rest fall in that neutral like zone. I can't stand people who say a lot about nothing, think their right and wrongs apply to everyone else, or any person who has ever watched MLP without barfing....you all have serious issues. I hate hot weather like a fat kid hates Weight Watchers. I can no longer be around girls who wear perfume without thinking of stripers or hookers from Brooklyn, so body-spray I can handle but don't come around me if you smell like ten gallons of seaweed infused with some obnoxiously named flower, ugh. If you are a male, and I go to shake your hand only to find a)lotion-y softness or b)sticky substance of ANY sort I will punch you in the face. No asking, no handling the situation, just knuckles to the bridge of your nose without hesitation. If you are one of those girls that neeeeds a man's attention seriously just go get counseling with your father and get over it, no one finds that neediness cute.I hate Disney related anything, the sound of out of shape car breaks, teenagers, Gene Simmons, the word ribbon, inappropriate dressers, loud people, and those douches who seem to have no idea they drive around with their highbeams on at night. Umm but I also love some great things. Mountains are my favorite things EVER! You have no freaking idea how much it bothers me living anywhere where I can't see elevation...like right now...but I'm planning on changing it one day soon. You can't stop me from rocking out in the truck if Aerosmith ever comes on, so just learn to deal with the jumping. Smoking is my love, my darling ladies in the pack will come before anything every time. Girls in sundresses are the epitome of gorgeous, so I've gotta thank those light little dresses for being the best. Hockey, yeah I'm Canadian you had to see this one coming, will cause me to drop everything I am doing in the house if turned on. I love pineapples, go carting races, the lovey type of drunk girls, laying at the bottom of pools to watch the bubbles drift up, hiking, being able to speak with my cousins in their first language, motorcycles, and having good friends around. There's probably ten thousand things I skipped out on here, but ahhh that'll do for now I guess.
