have a drink, clink, found the bud light.“Okay, yes yes I’ll tell Skye, god you’re such a little perv – yeah miss you too, bye!”, Savannah rolled her eyes and chucked the phone on the bed. Harley, the youngest Thevenard, had been on the phone to her for over half an hour and despite how much she loved him that really was pushing it. They’d always been close - even after Savannah pushed the pram, containing her baby brother, down the hill at Rosewood Park, when her mother wasn’t looking. She’d always wanted a younger sister but after convincing Harley to wear a tiara to pre-school he became her new best friend.Although, right now her brother seemed to be more interested in the fact that Skye thought it was a good idea he transferred to Ellison. Forgetting the fact that it was originally, 100%, Savannah’s idea. Rolling her eyes again Vannah pulled herself up from the bed – she was definitely behind schedule. Twenty minutes ago she’d told Skye that she’d be over ‘in a second’. Today was not a day to be spent inside. The sun was out, Savannah’s roommate had already promised, sort of, to prepare her assignment for the next day, and, she hadn’t seen Skye since Friday. A trip to the lake was a necessity.oi you, running late, as per, leaving now, meet you halfway? vannah xoWhite shorts, loose black top, pink bikini, brown satchel and some pastel vans later and she was set. She grabbed her lipstick from the bedside table, slipped her phone into her bag and left. There was no point locking the door – she had no keys anyway, having lost them three weeks ago at not-so-studious gathering. It really didn’t take that long to reach the lake from the dormitories – although the heat multiplied the effort it took. The nearest place to get a drink was the ice-cream van, queue packed with eager first years and their friends, so Savannah took her place, checking behind her to see if she could spot Skye.tagged: agnes | word count: three hundred and something this is terrible | outfit: in their somewhere | notes: this suckscassie at atf & caution.

I'M SEEING DOUBLE VISION
we're gonna stay up, ain't gonna lay low. we're gonna dance all night, because we say so. i'm thinking maybe i can't have relationships, cause lately they're not making any sense. and baby you're the one thing on my mind, but that could change any time.
Skye turned around infront of her mirror, trying to see if she looked okay from behind. Cause well, wearing shorts, there was always a risk your butt might look too big. She pursed her lips, trying to decide if it looked okay or not - finally deciding it looked, well, okay. She looked over at the time, she was running late. Great, now Vannah would have to wait.. or no, cause it was Vannah. She was always late herself, maybe they'd arrive at the same time for once. She jumped a little at the vibration of her phone, picking it up and reading the text she'd just gotten, she smirked at herself for being right about Vannah being late. She put her phone in her pocket, picking up her purse and putting on her sunglasses. Taking one last look in the mirror before walking out, she was wearing heels, a bikini top and shorts. She grabbed her keys to lock the door behind her as she went out.
She walked through the corridor and outside, taking in a deep breath of fresh air. It really was an amazing day, the weather was perfect for a day by the lake. Plus, she'd get to talk to Vannah. They hadn't seen eachother for a few days now, and that wasn't normal. Sure they'd talked the entire time they were away from eachother, but they usually did hang out more then this. But things had been so messed up lately, with Nate and Isaac and just everything. She figured she would tell Vannah all about once they got to sit down and just be with eachother.
She finally got to the lake, looking around for Vannah. She figured she would probably be by the ice cream van, since she'd wanted to get her drinks. She headed over there, looking around to see if she'd run into anyone else she knew. Since it was a warm day, it would probably be packed with people by the lake today. But they had their usual place to sit, and they were seniors - no one would dare take it. She smiled once she spotted Vannah waiting in line, she walked up to her from behind and poked her side. "Fancy meeting you here" She smirked at her and gave her a one armed hug. "What took you so long to get ready? Roommate causing trouble?" She laughed.
have a drink, clink, found the bud light. Why is it that ice-creams were so expensive? Savannah frowned at the board on the inside of the vans window – why would you spend more than two dollars on an ice lolly? It’d be gone in no time flat. The sun was definitely too bright, every other minute Savannah would remember she didn’t have her sunglasses on her head – people must’ve thought she was crazy reaching for her hair all the time. She couldn’t even remember the last time she had them, although, it was probably the lake. There wasn’t much else on campus that was quite as relaxing – no one ever counted the library as a quiet place where good things happen – the lake was usually full of cute juniors or dorky freshman doing their homework under the trees. It was always a good place to go, it’d become a regular meeting place for Skye and the rest of her friends. After finalizing her drink choice – a tough choice between apple tango or appletiser – Savannah handed over the last bit of change from her purse. “Holy crap!” she screamed, turning around to see Skye behind her – shaking her head she hugged her back. The two had been friends since before she could remember and Savannah could not even think about if they’d not ended up both at Ellison. “Don’t do that, you’re a terrible person, a terrible terrible perso- nice sunglasses though”, she said with a grin, bending down to pick up the bottle of soda she’d dropped on the floor. “Oh don’t get me started”, Vannah said as she rolled her eyes, “she doesn’t talk to me, and she’s always at the library, or in the science lab or you know some place like that- I needed to borrow her keys but hey- if she’s not in I’m raiding your space again”. She tapped the lid of her bottle, not wanting half a bottle of apple tango all over her white shorts. Without question she made her way to the usual spot – just the right distance between the lake and their favourite tree for shade. “Want a sip?” she said, smiling and handing her the bottle, hoping Skye would take the risk of pop explosion for her, “also, haven’t seen you since last period Friday – fill me in, what’d you do Saturday night?”tagged: agnes | word count: three eight four idk outfit: in their somewhere | notes: lalalalololocassie at atf & caution.

Skye laughed at Vannah's comment about her being a terrible person, she grinned at her in response. Then sighed dramatically as she started talking about her roommate, "Mine's the same way! Except the whole, she's always in our dorm and if I drop like a pin on the floor, she freaks, cause it makes 'too much noise!'. They should just change rooms and end up together, they'd be perfect for eachother." Skye laughed, trying to imagine their roommates living together. It'd be a fun thing to watch. She followed Vannah over to their usual spot, accepting the bottle from her. "Yeah sure," She held it at a arms distance before opening it, then letting out a sigh of relief as it didn't spray all over her. She took a sip then laughed a little to herself at Vannah's question, "Oh, my saturday night was.. awkward." She made slight a face and handed the bottle back to Vannah, sitting down in the grass.
"I went out with Bristol and Rory and some other girls, to some house party. And I met Nate." She held her breath for a moment, waiting for Vannah's reaction - Vannah had never been Nate's biggest fan, but she'd usually pretend she didn't hate him around Skye. "And I told you how things had been weird with us ever since I told him off about Rory and all that. And well, we talked and worked things out. Then I went home with him to his dorm.." She deliberately took some time before continuing with her story, smirking a little. "But we didn't do anything. Cause well. I fell asleep. And he actually spooned me. Nate. Spooned. Me. and then I pretended like nothing happened in the morning and went home." She said, making a face. She knew Vannah would give her an honest opinion on the matter, that she was thankful for. She was beyond confused at what had happened. Nate usually kicked girls out when he'd slept with them - and this time he hadn't even touched her. And he'd just gotten in bed with her and spooned her all night. As far as Skye knew, that had never happened before with anyone. And she was Nate's bestfriend after all, she would know.
"What do you think? It's weird right. And even weirder cause he knows about Isaac and stuff too.. well he doesn't know how serious it is, he just thinks we're..talking. or something." Skye sighed at how confusing she sounded, she was even making herself more confused then normal.
have a drink, clink, found the bud light.Swapping room mates had never even crossed Savannah’s mind before. The idea really was perfect; just a shame it’d never work out now, not with so little time left before the end of the school term. She kicked off her vans and sat crossed legged on the grass next to Skye, taking back her apple tango and taking a sip – the words ‘Saturday night’ and ‘awkward’ together instantly had Savannah’s full attention. Nothing could be missed when retelling a night out. She wasn’t going to space out when she had a feeling someone she particularly disliked might be involved.“Still so jealous, hated that I had to go out of town for that photography assignment- Nate!?” she stopped midsentence just to extenuate the tone of disapproval at the mention of his name. She’d always tried so hard to forget that she really couldn’t stand him and his ways, especially around Skye, since they were such good friends. She shook her head, and let Skye continue. “He’s a complete jerk when it comes to girls, I mean, Rory as well, she’s not the brightest crayon in the box but she’s lovely-”, Savannah was glad she wasn’t preoccupied with boy trouble herself, she quite enjoyed the occasional discussion, and bitch on her part, about Nathaniel Hart. She rolled her eyes after Skye admitted to going home with the guy and opened her mouth to protest- “wait so nothing actually happened?- are you sure you didn’t just dream that because you wanted to wake up and find a really cute, nice, young man next to you in the morning?”. Vannah smiled, and shrugged, “I’m sorry, look you know I’m not his biggest fan, but then I know, I know, I hardly know him at all, I just know of him – you are really good friends, was it a romantic spoon or a friendly spoon”. Spoon was such a peculiar word and already Savannah was convinced she’d said, and heard, it too much in too short a time to make sense of it, “we all know there’s a difference between spooning”, she nodded.Best friends spooned all the time. “Bet it wasn’t as good as one of my spoons- did he have his arms around you?” she shook her head again and sweeped a stray strand of hair from her face, “no actually, well yeah it’s weird – what about Isaac? How serious do you want that to be? I mean he’s a much better deal than Nate, think of the vodka – you worried about what Nate will think?”. Savannah shrugged, she wasn’t the best to come to advice – she concentrated more on her own opinions other than actually being helpful but when it came to her friends she really did try. Frowning at the thought of Nate and his reputation, and how she'd repeated his name about ten times already she shrugged, “what do you feel Skye?”.tagged: agnes | word count: four fifty ish outfit: in their somewhere | notes: she asks a lot of questions oopscassie at atf & caution.

Skye laughed quietly listening to everything Savannah had to say, she knew she'd never liked Nate, and was always trying really hard not to make it too obvious while she was talking to Skye. But Savannah had never been good at hiding her feelings - which was one thing Skye loved about her. And her dislike for Nate had always been very obvious - even when she'd say something almost nice about him. "Nothing happened. It was just, weird. And he had his arms around me, so it was like a REAL spooning session, and he.. well, he was basically breathing in my neck. So yes, that kind of spooning." she made slight a face then laughed at her mentioning their spooning moments, "Of course it wasn't better then your spoons, nothing is better then them." She laughed and leaned back, resting on her elbows.
She bit her lip slightly, sighing as she started thinking about what she really thought about Isaac. "He's such a .. nice guy, you know? And well. I actually think we're officially dating now. I mean he basically called me his girlfriend the other day.. and then he came over to my dorm and well. You know." Skye laughed a little, almost blushing as she thought about it. "He's really sweet and he's always doing his best to make me happy. He even said he'd go with me to the prom." She laughed, it wasn't normal for a 24 year old guy to go with his high school girlfriend to her prom. But that was the kindof guy that Isaac was - he'd agree to anything she suggested as long as it made her happy. Skye was definitely not used to that kind of treatment. But it was a nice change.
"Why would Nate think anything though? I mean we were never like, a thing. And he's not capable of feelings so he really wouldn't care." She made slight a face noticing how irritated she'd sounded at the mention of Nate not having any feelings. But it was true though, wasn't it? She wasn't even sure why she was irritated with him about that. "I guess I just feel happy cause I have Isaac. But I don't know. It's all a bit, too good to be true, you know?" She looked over at Savannah, hoping she'd understood all her rambling.
