My mom once told me she named me after Felix the Cat. You know, that mischievous black cat cartoon character? I thought that was pretty cool. Other than having a strange name, I had a pretty great childhood. I’ve lived in the same house since I was born and hung around the same people. We all graduated elementary school and moved on to high school together. They all had dreams too.

Every person has a dream. Mine is to sing. Since I was a little girl it’s all I’ve wanted. It’s what drives me, makes me a better person. It pushes me to try at everything and to never give up. It challenges me to grow and adapt to whatever is thrown my way. I can’t say that my life would be horrible without singing and music – millions do, I’m sure if I had never tried I’d be just like them – but being where I am now, I don’t think I could go back. I don’t think I could stop trying. After I graduate high school in a year I plan on following my dreams and going to Los Angeles. I know there’s a lot of film and recording studios here in Vancouver but frankly, I know that LA is where dreams are made. I won’t stop singing until I get signed. I’ll do whatever it takes, for the music, for the love of singing. That’s all that matters, right?
