I hope everyone had fun, are there any thoughts or comments from the membership about Otakon and how the con went? Any problems with the rooms or hotel?

I personally loved Otakon this year. Alex disliked it because the panels were always full butsince I don't go to Otakon for the panels it didn't affect me greatly. However, I am dissapointed in the low number of high quality costumes this year. To much cardboard or closet cosplays, though I still think they are a good thing in general, as I'd rather have more people in any costume.

My room was great, although a little small, and I have no complaints about my roommates. There is one thing that scares me though, and that is Nate Beers. Last one in the room, first one out. I was almost afraid I'd find him merged with the BCC one day in a scene out of Akira. Seriously, Nate, get some sleep.

I wish the hotel had a mini fridge though.

So what if it's out of the closet stuff...I was happy, only really had the one issue with my prop...

Rooms were good, they were big enough for us. Our ice bucket was stolen by certain neighboring rooms... If we can find out ahead of time if they have internet or not I can bring a couple of antenna arrays to grab from elsewhere, same goes for a mini-fridge, I would have brought a cooler had I known.

I have a Photo Gallery on my website that people can register and post photos if they want. Right now I only have the pictures of me people have taken, but anything Otakon related is welcome, there's plenty of space. There's a java applet for mass uploads and it'll do resizing et al.

And seriously, for all the crap he was doing, Nate must need a vacation from Otakon.

You don't count because you have a very odd closet. I was referring to the L's and the thrown together stuff that only looked vaguely correct.

I have your pics too, should I email them to you at some point? The archive is around 5 megs in size.

As for the Days Inn, I myself would like to stay with AGO but I, and Alex as well, have graduated and it wouldn't make sense for us, which sucks sad.gif Unless Paul can write us in as guests?
