Wow. At least it wasn't Daniel or Emma. Now that would be even more horrible.

ONLY 120 hours of community service? Shit, here he would have gone to prison, or juvie if he's still under 18.
so, it sucks that the police were allowed to search his camera, but that's cool that he's not going to get locked up.
hmm... I am now officially contemplating moving to the UK...

True. I wonder what Phelps would have been charged? I'd love to move there but I stay away from drugs. =P If I'm ever tempted, you'll find me in Europe.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA THATS HYSTERICAL!
I live in Massachusetts where Marijuana is decrimiilized, sooo yea. You pay tickets if you get caught.
Antonia McKinnon - July 21, 2009 04:16 PM (GMT)
LOL. Insinuating that you want to hit the pipe there, Chris? ;p
Screw it, I'm all for legalization. As far as Marijuana goes, I think it's relatively harmless. Community service seems just to me if all he did was grow it (they didn't get him for intending to distribute, as far as I can tell), I guess. It's not like he pummeled his girlfriend. So, congratulations Waylett for only getting community service.
EDIT. LOL, Natt. You're state has the right idea. It's pot. It makes you happy and hungry. I don't see where that is so dangerous and scary.

I think he got off more lightly due to his "previous good character"

And because he's a celebrity, even if only minor. That always carries weight in court, even if the justice systems would like to say it doesn't.

Not quite... having it in your bloodstream/urine is decriminalized. That's not the same as growing actual plants or dealing it. So, be careful ;) (I live in MA too.)
Cristina, I wasn't insinuating. I thought it was pretty blatant to be honest xD

Phs, my friend got caught growing and he $400 in tickets and fines. It all depends on who catches you really.
