Kaiser walked up to the cage. It was enormous! The bars were a foot thick and 15 feet tall. Inside was a beast that fit the cage quite well - an massive cave troll (Editors Note: think the LotR cave troll). Kaiser looked down the hall; there were many more cages. Many more trolls...
Kaiser looked at the beat behind the bars as it stared back, angry and defiant. Removing his newfound spherical trinket from a pouch, he held it aloft speaking clearly and with force the command words, "Tara rindlo vitsa tam led quappao!" The trolls eyes blanked for a moment, and then seemed to glaze over as the spell took it's effect. "Come closer," Kaiser bade him. The large creature lumbered forward and made no menacing moves towards the nearby man. Smiling, Kaiser lowered the orb and made his way to the next cage... |
