	Welcome to our little role-playing site. We have some rules and regulations to keep things fair and fun. Rule One: The rule of the Emerald Knights is supreme. That means that Havoc (Rogue King), Lord Hoehn, and I (KaiserKold) have final say and ultimate power over the goings on in this site. Our word is law. Feel free to argue with us though, but it probably won't get you anywhere. Rule Two: Know the basic rules of role-playing (will be posted in a different topic). Rule Three Be kind and courteous to your fellow rp'er. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Or else. That doesn't mean you can't fight at all, just don't be moronic and hateful about it. Try to keep highly offensive language to a minimum, but don't feel like you can't say anything. Somethings will be automatically filtered by our system and will appear as another word. NO RACIAL SLURS OR HATE SPEECH. Rule Four ALL CHARACTERS MUST BE REVIEWED (post them in the designated "BIOS" section. Again, our word is law. However, if you feel that you are not being treated fairly, or your bio reviewer is being unfairly prejudiced against something in your character, tell another admin or mod. Rule Five Type your posts like you would type an essay for English class. Use proper grammar, spelling (to the best of your ability: I have spellchecker built into my web browser, so I'll lend a hand whenever I see something is spelled wrong), and punctuation. Use periods at the end of sentences. Avoid run on sentences. Capitalize proper names and the beginnings of sentences. Use l33t speak and chat speak sparingly (i.e.- lol, lmao, ftw, wtf?, rofl, haXxorz, t3h, n00bz, etc.). Refrain from using it at all unless you are speaking casually and out of character. It just makes reading your posts more difficult and can break the mood sometimes. If your character happens to be a nerdy computer programmer super genius who might actually would use such language, then by all means feel free to use it. Rule Six Just in case we get Spam messages in here, be careful and do not click on any odd links. DO NOT FEED THE FORUM TROLLS or REPLY IN SPAM MESSAGES!
