OK so this idea occured to me while i was unloading a horse trailer the other day. It still might have a few kinks in it but thats why I'm telling you guys now so perhaps we can fix it together.

We each get one Character and this character is ourselves, we make a realistic list of each of our strengths and weakness and that is our character.

We use a first person perspective, so instead of "Kurt swings at Paco" it's "I swing at Paco"

Now heres the kicker, it takes place in Staunton and we all begin at our respective houses (Ill put myself back in the Easton house and Randal will be at his families home). There is a Zombie Outbreak and we have to survive.

We can only use items we actually own so Paco could use his ninja sword and me my tomahawks. Our guns work to (colin i don't know if you or anyone in your family owns a firearm so if you want we'll let you spawn one).

So the Zombies have infected the whole town we cannot leave we have to eat and drink something at least once a day; each of us will take turns making up new city wide problem like, the power grid goes out, or water is mysteriously shut off, and the phones are disconnected.

Anyway we each only have the skills that we posses in reality so none of us would be able to say fly a helicopter or what ever. But we could teach each other some more basic skills like skinning a squirrel. Also the stuff we can scavenge from the town should be realistic, we won't find a tank or paco's favorite gun the 500.

I also though it would be neat to have a sense of time like we all start out at like 3 AM on a monday in july or something and then at the end of each post we type in a clock showing how much time has passed during that post.

I know this is kind of a scatterbrained post but i think we all get the picture. Basically it's us surviving in a town that has experienced a Zombie outbreak as realistically as possible.

I have a few ideas about the combat too but I'd like to know what we all think about the idea and then we can work on a few details together.

That actually sounds like a great idea.

And I only have knives and one sword blade at my house. It doesn't have a handle so i'd have to make one or just have it to where it hurts my hands when i use it. But whatev.

I'm up for it, but i think my character would be pretty weak.

We would all be pretty weak compared to what we are used to playing with but this is supposed to be more realistic.

The only hiccup I can find is the inability to have time pass realistically. I love the idea of the extreme realism like having to eat drink and sleep and stuff, but what exactly is a day in your "once a day" idea?

Perhaps a day should be a certain number of posts. I know there is a DnD reference thing for converting moves (posts) into time, but i'll have to find it.

Yes we did because the style is going to be a little coplicated we are going to need more specified forums like Pacos house.

I jsut want to say the weapons in my bio will be short because im going to half to ask my dad what everything he has....though in chararacter form I will obviously not know how to work some, or ahve ammo for others..., I was thinking, are we going to half to raid different houses to get ammo, because I was thinking no place sells ammo in staunton

Did Ace Hardware used to sell ammo a long while back?

I know for a fact they sell air pistol stuff and if they do sell ammo, theres very little of it and its probably only 12-gage or 22 ammo.

I don't remember, if anyone dosen't know, someone can just check, its not that big of a deal really because they even if they did, that wouldn't last long

I was thinking, I think we can do the Z thing on this site personally, just put it under aftermath, and make another thing for Z day rules
