Okay, Navi Araz(Angry Dad) said that "they" had been planning this for over four years. Almost five. It has been four-and-a-half years since Season 2 ended.(in show time).
Also, in Season 2, the baddie said at the end that it would "start" today. And, that "they were going to have to do this another way". Then, Mandy showed up and shook Palmer's hand. I hope that's what happens. Season 2 was left completely out in the open.

I heard rumors that they were originally going to do something with it during Season 3 but, someone at FOX didn't like it. I don't think that is what happened. But, they changed the Season One plot(it originally contained an entire conspiracy plot within the government, they then did this for Season 2) due to 9/11 so, who knows? -------------------- Alberta: There's a rule for when you do stuff like this, Nina.
