Blanca: Too hot!

Uri: Clubbing? Sounds like fun.

Glenn: Oh, yes, let us go swimming!

Any public official to Uri: I can see that this is your passport/drivers license/photo ID, and you're free to go.

LOL

We must be on one of the same mailing lists. Or maybe it's just a common saying: "I am awake." Hadn't heard it before a day or two ago. Um, in that context.

Guy-in-a-Tie: Forget you, The Grandma, I'm going to Paris.

Can you think of a way we could respond to what came before in this thread?

Benvolo: It's time to settle down to life in a small Midwestern village.

I recognized it as being from an e-mail, but I'm on a Buddhist list and a Hindu list and a Religious Jokes list, so I thought it was one of those.

You could have recognized it from there as well. It's a famous Buhdist saying. In fact the word Buhda means "awake".

I think my Memory Joke would work better for Uri.

Anyway continuing on that theme:

Uri: We're off to see the Kang the wonderful Kang of Aus because because of the wonderful tricks it does..

Mr Van Heyes and Sybil:
Kids
Who could guess the they would turn out that way!
Why can't they be like we were,
Perfect in every way?
What's the matter with kids?
What's the matter with kids?
What's the matter with kids today?

Odeda:
The Sasquatch of Canada is here inside your house!!!!!!!!!!

LOL. Those are all SO great.

Theo: Here, I'm donating this large sum of money to a charitable cause without expecting anything in return, even tax breaks.

Theo: Jordan, after all your whining, I never want to see you again.

Uri: Benvolo, I'll GIVE you that construction job!

No, wait, she would say that.

Dooley: " I like big butts and I cannot lie you other brothers can't deny That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waste And a round thing in your face you get sprung"!

Jordan:Saying 'I Love you' is not the words
I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you not to say
But if you only knew
How easy it would be to show me how you feel
More than words is all you have to do
To make it real then you wouldn't have to say
That you love me I'd already know

THe Grandma-We built this city. We built this city. We built this city on rock and roll.

Are we counting days or actually getting it up before midnight?

You'll like tomorrow's comments.

ROFL! I really need to get back to the GiaT's original status of overly-complimentary flunky. He's useful. Can fly a helicopter or film a death threat, but for the audience, you'd probably like to see him lick TG's boots. (Except she doesn't wear boots. Probably orthopedic shoes.)

I think the web novel would work better if Ed and Sara were later and everything else came before them (well everything I've writen so far).

Glenn: I'm sorry I don't know that person.

Glenn: I date to much.

Uri: I want to go out and have fun tonight.

URI: I want to go out tonight and have fun with a lot of people.

URI: Be normal.

JORDAN: Why be normal?

CHLOE: I think I made a mistake.

ZOE: Ew! Slime!

Guess who'll be in the next scripted comic?

I need to figure out how to update with filler art, yet have it move to a non-timeline page later.

Glenn&Uri: Apology accepted Grandma! We Love you!

Cecilia! I'm shocked!

No, really, if she's based on my mother, I don't think so. I used to chide Mom for swearing. And Cecilia DEFINITELY isn't under TG's thumb as much as Jordan is (although she used to be). It's more, she doesn't want her mother to go to jail or be locked up, and she IS still in denial, although not that far, and she feels responsible for her mother's actions. The balance of the relationship has turned. Cecilia had her mother put in a nursing home (from which TG regularly escapes) and now feels almost maternal towards her, willing to clean up her messes such as international terrorism. So,

CECILIA: Mother, you are a controlling <expletive deleted>, and you had better shape up if you expect to have anyone care about you when you need it most.
TG: <long-suffering sigh> You just don't understand all I have to put up with, dear. That woman's (Sybil's) son (Sybil has no son) has taken over the house, and your husband (not married anymore) neglects me (Harold brought over special bottled water just yesterday).

is a conversation that is not unlikely to take place. Although probably not in comic format. Less likely:

ODEDA: I refuse to follow my dream because the cards warned me against it.

HERA: Oh, let's have a little less vengeance and a little more good times with the menfolk, shall we?

(See! Giving Dooley donkey ears was almsot the ultimate religious act for Vivian! She was probably feeling neglected because men treated her well most of her life, and she never had any excuse to rain the fires of Olympus on anyone's head.)

Kamali: I know Dooley! THe way she walks is like wow!

Jordan comes out of a mine on another planet. She carries an insect with her.

Uri: What was in there?

Jordan: THe answer!

Uri: TO what?

Jordan: My question!

Andrei: We're two diffrent people Sam, YOu're a man of science!

Sam: And what does that make you?

Andrei: A man of faith.

How far have you made it in Lost?

Beth: I give up!

Everette: I'm not really smarter than everyone I know, I just try to act like it.

Theo: I've found the love of my life, and am settling down to be responsible.

Emu: I've made a decision to plan better, follow the stereotypes, and not try to break all the rules before even learning them.

Glenn: I'm glad that they're dead!

Joey: Yes, I can sit and wait patiently, meditating on calm waters, while Emu sorts things about all the other characters out instead of telling me what I want to know about Benvolo.

Emu: I'm going to sow how grateful I am to Joey for teaching me about how to develop characters instead of ridiculing his puncutation and spelling, remembering of course that those things aren't as important in dramatic writing as character development and structure.

Sorryhad to rib you in return laugh.gif

Jordan: Andrei, I'm sorry I love another.

Andrei: Who?

( Jordan points at Theo)

Jordan *sigh* HIM!

Completely understood. Turnabout and all that rot.

And . . . LOL. How about Kamali? (Actually, what IS that insult war hiding?)

However, I do need to figure out what Andrei's response to Theo will be. Jealous over Jordan? Stop-stalking-my-girlfriend? Let's be pals? Meh, there's another guy falling all over Jordan, now let's hit the tables? I'm heading into that storyline as soon as I hit a decent stopping point in this one.

Why have I stopped before a decent stopping point? Euh . . . Look out behind you! <runs off while your backs are turned><plural because I'm pretending more than one person will actually read this>

Only to you.

<pause>

<crickets chirp>

Moving on . . .

Jordan: Andrei, turn the light out, I'm going to sleep.

Not funny. Retry:

Jordan: Andrei, turn that CD from my Dad's toenails down. I'm going to sleep.

I bet you're happy with that character revelation.

The Grandma: What's up Doc?

Glenn: Oh, dat waskly Gwandma!

Glenn:A stranger came to the door at eve,
And he spoke the bridegroom fair.
He bore a green-white stick in his hand,
And, for all burden, care.
He asked with the eyes more than the lips
For a shelter for the night,
And he turned and looked at the road afar
Without a window light.

The bridegroom came forth into the porch
With, 'Let us look at the sky,
And question what of the night to be,
Stranger, you and I.'
The woodbine leaves littered the yard,
The woodbine berries were blue,
Autumn, yes, winter was in the wind;
'Stranger, I wish I knew.'

Within, the bride in the dusk alone
Bent over the open fire,
Her face rose-red with the glowing coal
And the thought of the heart's desire.

The bridegroom looked at the weary road,
Yet saw but her within,
And wished her heart in a case of gold
And pinned with a silver pin.

The bridegroom thought it little to give
A dole of bread, a purse,
A heartfelt prayer for the poor of God,
Or for the rich a curse;

But whether or not a man was asked
To mar the love of two
By harboring woe in the bridal house,
The bridegroom wished he knew.
